A 7th floor apartment in a highly sought after 1930’s art-deco block, located in the north of prestigious Portman Square. The lay-out of the flat had not been altered since being built and hence it had an impractical set-up, with the kitchen adjacent to the master bedroom, away from the reception and irregular shaped bedrooms. It was originally a 3 bedroom apartment (all doubles), and therefore liveable as a family residence.
The apartment was remodelled to turn it into a spacious 2 - double bedroom unit, with a large and open reception space. The corridor set up was effectively removed and the kitchen moved to the front of the apartment, adjoining the reception and creating a more practical use of space. In addition a contemporary master-suite was created including separate dressing area and en-suite facilities. The property was subsequently sold to an international client for use as a London base.
